Pioli makes four changes for Milan vs Torino

Coach confirms AC Milan’s 3-4-1-2 formation against Torni with Rafael Leao returning to play from the first minute.

AC Milan are at the brink of a seasonal catastrophe. The Rossoneri have lost the Super Cup, are out of Coppa Italia and out of the Scudetto race and now find themselves outside the top four in the league. Stefano Pioli desperately needs a victory in Milan vs Torino in order to rejoin the Champions League race and also save his job.

The Italian coach has confirmed that he will use again the 3-4-2-1 formation for Milan vs Torino. Malick Thiaw will start form the first  minute in the heart of the back three alongside Simon Kjaer and Pierre Kalulu. Thiaw will take Gabbia’s spot while Fikayo Tomori is not available yet. Tatarusanu is tasked to protect the goal.

Theo Hernandez and Alexis Saelemaekers will play higher up in midfield. Sandro Tonali will lead the midfield department against Torino. The Italian midfielder will be accompanied by Rade Krunic with Brahim Diaz set to play in a more advanced position.

Stefano Pioli will return Rafael Leao in the starting eleven. The Portuguese winger was absent in the last two games with Divock Origi have a disastrous performance in the derby. Rafael Leao will partner in attack with Olivier Giroud.
